Jonas went to Berlin. This means that you can get a hold of a REVIVAL Magazine if you're in Berlin: Although Jonas leaves for home (Stavanger, NRW) on Thursday, he has ".. placed a REVIVAL in a really cool shop!" so you could find one anyway.

New stickers are coming as well, and soon we might drown Stavanger in REVIVAL. Stay tuned, it'll be worth it.

STOKED BEYOND BELIEF

Goal of the week: To print the magazine. Hopefully, we'll get it done before the male part of this dynamic duo leaves for Berlin on monday, but anything can happen. At least REVIVAL no. 1 will be done before I (Sofie) leaves for New York in the end of this month. And all this traveling will of course result in an amazing REVIVAL no. 2!

New domain!

A few minutes ago, we bought the domain www.revivalmagazine.net at maddog.com, which is owned by Mad Dog Domains and Cattle Company. Err, what?
We are currently celebrating with tea and chocolate.

REVIVAL minizine

All right, so now that the REVIVAL-related surprise is no longer a surprise, I'll share what it was with the rest of the world.



I made a minizine, inspired by Nam Phuong Nguyen (keyboardist in Fjorden Baby!, minizinemaker and blogger). The minizine is in Norwegian, and it's called A Short Book About Life. It's a folded A4 piece of paper, and the printing method is simply a copy machine. (If someone's interested in the method of this kind of magazine making, leave a note and I could write a how-to post.)

We will not be selling this, it's just for fun. The idea is to make it a pre-REVIVAL, so to say, leave the minizines casually around in our hometown Stavanger to spread the word. On the back of the minizine, it says "A side-project by REVIVAL Magazine".

It's been a hard day's night

Yesterday, we worked for.. well, I don't really know how long, but we sat by a table and that is in some way a big step. Usually, during editorial meetings, we sit in a sofa or a bed. Not this time. A table has at last been used. As if it's serious work. And I suppose it is, in some way. The result was quite to our liking, and soon, this blog is actually related to a physical magazine. We are that close.

And now, to something completely different. Today, I made something REVIVAL-related on my own. I told Jonas I'd bring him a gift tomorrow, so it's sort of secret. But of course I'll write what absolutely amazing gift/contribution to the world of REVIVAL I made at another occasion. Stay tuned!
